Custom Shade Tarp Cover to fit Chain Link Dugout Wall or Roof

Dugout cover tarps are often used on the roof to help reduce temperatures, on walls to provide separation from the stands, and they shed most water during rain. This style of tarp attaches directly to the chain link and is often ordered 4" shorter and 4" narrower than the actual structure size providing room to stretch the tarp tight. When ordering for side walls, it is common to select a height of 68" and leave the extra height exposed for better air circulation.

The tarp will feature a 2-ply hem that is reinforced using 2" heavy duty polypro webbing, often referred to as tape. This webbing is attached using two rows of our black 277 polyester bonded thread which features a 44 lbs. breaking strength which is nearly double the industry standard. In the corners, as well as about every 24" around the hem, #2 brass locking spur grommets will be machine punched through the hem for extra strength.

This 9-ounce vinyl coated polyester mesh is frequently used for other projects around baseball fields making it a natural choice for the dugout. This fabric is a top choice for applying graphics because paint, dye, and adhesive backed stickers adhere better to this matte fabric than any we offer. In many scenarios, the 80% shade rating provides the perfect amount of solid surface while still allowing water and air to flow through. It comes on a 72" roll that will be assembled using heat sealed seams which are virtually invisible. This material has almost no stretch and finishes true to size making it an excellent choice for projects with tight tolerances, unique shapes, or that require notches.
