Description
Privacy fence screen is a type of tarp that is used to block a percentage of wind and visibility through a fence. Installing a windscreen will improve appearance and security for both residential and commercial applications. Our custom size, made-to-order privacy screen tarps are often used on chain link fences found around apartments, ball fields, backyards, buildings, construction sites, patios, schools, soccer fields, and tennis courts.
All privacy screens from Lookout Mountain Tarp are custom built to match the specifications of your order. Regardless of the fabric type selected, the tarp will feature a 2-ply hem that is reinforced using 2" wide heavy duty polypro webbing, sometimes referred to as tape. This webbing is attached using two rows of our black 277 polyester bonded thread which features a 44 lbs. breaking strength that is nearly double the industry standard. In the corners, as well as about every 24" around the hem, #2 brass locking spur grommets will be machine punched through the hem for extra strength.
Wind screens are typically ordered 4" shorter and 4" narrower than the inside dimensions of the fence. This gap allows for easy installation using zip ties. Tarps up to 57.75" tall will feature seamless construction with a 2" hem around all four sides.
This 14 ounce vinyl laminated polyester fabric blocks 100% visibility as well as 100% wind - perfect where total blockage is required. It comes on a 61.75" roll which allows for seamless construction up to 57.75" tall and for larger projects where seams are required this material can be assembled using heat sealed seams which are virtually invisible.
14oz Waterproof Vinyl Fabric Construction
14 ounce vinyl coated polyester is the fabric is lighter weight while still offering sturdy waterproof protection. This material has excellent UV resistance.
14oz vinyl is an occasionally common used and sold material we build our tarps with.
Though 14oz is used for a decent portion of our tarps, there's similar materials we offer with different weights and strength, such as 18oz and 22oz.

Every single tarp we sell is Made in the USA. Cullman, Alabama to be exact. Zero imported tarps sold. Period!

When will it ship?
Unless it's one of our stock tarps that we keep in stock, we'll usually have the tarp built and ready to ship within 5 business days. Fulfillment within one week is always our goal. Please note we are closed Saturday and Sunday, as well as most typical holidays.
How do you ship?
Most of our tarps are rolled up and placed inside a standard box using UPS Ground. UPS Ground takes 1-5 business days depending on how close you are to Cullman, Alabama.
UPS offers Saturday delivery in some markets but for the most part Saturday and Sunday are not counted in that calculation. For orders of 10+ tarps please contact us before ordering so we can get a quote for LTL delivery which will likely be more cost effective.
