Football Sideline Bench Turf Protector White Mesh Tarp

Sideline cover tarps are recommended during football games to protect the turf in-between the side line and the bench. This high traffic area is prone to damage from team equipment as well as player's cleats. Installing a tarp in this location will keep the grounds game ready throughout the entire season, and help prevent the need for repairing during the offseason.

This 9-ounce vinyl coated polyester mesh fabric is our go-to fabric for sports projects in which the tarp will often be walked on. The 12x12 construction creates excellent tear strength, and the foamed vinyl coating features a spongy feel that boosts traction while featuring fire retardant compliant requirements. The 80% solid design allows water, air, and sunlight to pass through the fabric without smoothing the grass underneath. This fabric is a top choice for applying graphics because paint, dye, and adhesive backed stickers adhere better to this matte fabric than any we offer. This fabric features an F/R treatment to be compliant in venues with NFPA 701 requirements.

We are a custom tarp shop and can work with you to build any custom shape, but our standard football sideline tarp is a rectangle shape with four 90-degree corners. It is white in color and extends back 13' from the side line. The 30 yard tarp protects from one 35 yard line to the other 35 yard line, the 40 yard version covers from one 30 yard line to the other 30 yard line, and the 50 yard tarp spans from one 25 to the other 25. Regardless of the length selected, the tarp will feature a 2-ply heat sealed hem. Brass locking spur grommets are machine punched in the corners as well as every 18" around the hem. Lawn spikes (not included) should be used to secure the tarp to the turf.
