Industrial curtain is a type of tarp used to either divide or enclose a space. Industrial curtain tarps are often used for climate control, to restrict visibility, to contain airborne debris, or as a temporary divider. They can be permanently mounted, hung by a cable, or attached to an opening mechanism.
All industrial curtains from Lookout Mountain Tarp are custom built to match the specifications of your order. Regardless of the fabric type selected, the tarp will feature a 2-ply hem across the top and sides with a 2.5" pocket across the bottom. The hem is reinforced with a 2" heavy duty polypro webbing, and #2 brass locking spur grommets will be machine punched about every 12" across the top and every 24" on the sides. The bottom pocket can be used to insert either a pipe or a chain for weighting the tarp down.
Select this 13-ounce vinyl laminated polyester fabric for projects where a light duty waterproof fabric is required. It features a UV treatment that will outlast other solid fabrics outdoors as well as an anti-mildew treatment that is valuable if used in wets environments like a spray booth. When compared to our vinyl coated fabrics, this fabric comes on a larger roll which reduces seams but has a much lower abrasion rating; therefore, holes will develop faster if rubbing against something. The rigid polyester base has little to no stretch which allows the curtain to be built within tight tolerances for projects requiring notches or with unique shapes. It comes on a 72" roll and will be assembled using heat sealed seams which are virtually invisible. Our 13oz laminate material is available in black, blue, green, grey, and tan.
