Description
General Info.
Custom sized storage rack tarps are three-dimensional, fitted products with 90-degree corners that will cover top and sides. Industrial rack shelf covers are intended for covering the shelving, and the contents they hold, with our example being above (Images feature 2 tarps for examples of coverage). Industry work shops and warehouses use these tarps to cover their cargo shelves and contents for storage, and keeping them unexposed. The tarp is designed to be rolled up for access.
Measuring
Measure the distance of the center of each standing pole to get your length. Make the height measurement as tall as you want coverage, just make the top of your measurement start from the center of the rack pole you're hanging from. Our warehouse shelf cart tarps are a custom-made product that will be built to match the specs of your order.
Material and Hardware
Constructed out of waterproof 18-ounce vinyl coated polyester fabric. This material has excellent UV resistance and has proven itself for decades in the transportation industry. The bottom of the tarp will feature a 2.5" pocket, with the remaining 3-side perimeter featuring a sewn hem with heavy duty polypro webbing. Although, it is optional to have the sides replaced with loop velcro, in case you mount adhesive hook velcro to your racks. Sides and top will also feature buckles for wrapping around poles. Brass spur grommets will be machine punched across the top about every 12" The bottom has a 2.5" pocket for pipe. Acts as a weight.
18oz Waterproof Vinyl Fabric Construction
18 ounce vinyl coated polyester is the fabric truck drivers use to cover loads of steel or lumber being hauled on a flatbed. This material has excellent UV resistance and has proven itself for decades in the transportation industry.
Truck drivers travel at interstate speeds in harsh climates covering abrasive cargo and despite these conditions get several years of usage. 18oz vinyl is our most commonly used and sold material we build our tarps with.
Though 18oz is used for big portion of our tarps, there's similar materials we offer with different weights and strength, such as 14oz and 22oz.
Where is it made?
Every single tarp we sell is Made in the USA. Cullman, Alabama to be exact. Zero imported tarps sold. Period!

When will it ship?
Unless it's one of our stock tarps that we keep in stock, we'll usually have the tarp built and ready to ship within 5 business days. Fulfillment within one week is always our goal. Please note we are closed Saturday and Sunday, as well as most typical holidays.
How do you ship?
Most of our tarps are rolled up and placed inside a standard box using UPS Ground. UPS Ground takes 1-5 business days depending on how close you are to Cullman, Alabama.
UPS offers Saturday delivery in some markets but for the most part Saturday and Sunday are not counted in that calculation. For orders of 10+ tarps please contact us before ordering so we can get a quote for LTL delivery which will likely be more cost effective.
